Judco SwitchesThe Judco switches on this page come in three body types, Tall, Short and FlatSome switches have push on terminal connectors or you can solder wires to these style connectors. Some switches have wire leads There are several contact types available SPST, SPDT, NO = Normally open and NC = Normally closed Momentary means that the switch only does something when you press the plunger, then it goes back to it's original state when you release the plunger NO = Nothing passes through the switch until you press the plunger, then the contact points make contact NC = Current passes through the switch all the time, the contact points open up and break the circuit when you press the plunger Click means that there is a clicking action when you press the plunger No Click mens that there is no clicking action when you push the plunger The Tall and Short switch bodies The Tall and Short switch bodies are the same, but the plunger heights and thread heights are different The Tall And Short switch bodies are approx. 17mm Long x 13.5mm Wide x 8mm high The Short plunger switches fit into the External Marwi switch housings that I sell on this page The Tall and Short switches come with a plastic mounting nut and you can get rubber boots for each style to keep water and dirt out of the switch The Tall and Short switches will fit into the Old style Bell shaped Marwi light bodies The Flat body switches The switch bodies are approx. 15.4mm wide x 17mm long x 6.5mm high The Flat body switches fit into the newer Bullet shaped Marwi housings. They slide into the Marwi housings and lock in place with a metal pin |
Marwi Thumb Switch housingThese handlebar thumb switches are pretty slickAll the regular type Judco Tall and Short switches sown below fit this housing The judco switches with the copper tabs fit better than the switches that have wire leads, but you can make those work also The tall Judco switches and tall switch boots work well if you have heavy gloves on The short Judco switches and short switch boots work well also There are several types of Judco switches below including Momentary so you can rig up just about any driver type The velcro strap is very strong The mini shielded cable on my wire-cable page works well with this housing Note: The Judco flat switches do not fit this housing Click here for a page of big pictures and info about these switch housings This switch housing is located on my Bike lights page here |
