Self tapping Phillips head screwsUse these to screw down transformers, tube sockets, etc.The screw tip is tapered a bit so you can start threading the screw into a smaller hole.The screw will create it's own threads. You do not need a nut, but you can use a nut on these screws if you want one. Drill a slightly smaller hole than the body of the screw Drive the screw into the hole to create the threads.
