Led lamp Assembly

Led lamp Assembly

Led assembly used for amp pilot light
Maximum panel thickness is 6 mm
Runs off of the 6.3 volt AC heater supply
Long lead is anode (+) in case you are using it on a DC power source.
Lead does not matter for AC power source.
Use a 1/2 watt 180 ohm metal film resistor in line with one of the leads for 6.3 volt Ac use.
Mounts a 1/4 inch hole. Nice chrome bezel around Red LED.
Specs: 1.7 volts at 20ma current rating. Maximum operating current = 40 ma.
Formula for current limiting resistor: 6.3v supply - 1.7 volts = 4.60 volts to be dropped across current limiting resistor.
4.6 volts divided by .02 (20ma) = 230 ohms. 180 ohms will give you about 25ma of current.

3 amp rating means you can use it for 5Y3, 5U4G or 5AR4/GZ34 rectifier tubes. 115Vac 50/60Hz primary.
NOTE: Do not use the Red wire with the yellow stripe.
This is a center tap for the 5 volt AC winding. You do not need a center tap.

You can form the top of this tube holder for most large power tubes and rectifier tubes.

Voted hands down the BEST SOUNDING CABLE, by GUITAR PLAYER MAGAZINE in a 36 cable shootout.
The ends are not soldered on, you push them on and then tighten down a set screw on the straight ends.
On the right angle ends you twist the cap tight.
The cable and ends come with an easy to follow instruction sheet.
They are way tougher than they look and they can be fixed on a gig in less than a minute.
Very low capacitance's in the cable and plug ends help preserve the high end and makes your tone sound fuller.
Sounds like hype but they really do work.
The George-L ends only work with the George-L cable.
The cable ends are Guaranteed for life by George-L.
Note: George-L also makes the .155 cable in Red. It is the same cable, but I only carry the black.

This light is built using the Bullet shaped Marwi bodies
The driver is a multi mode board that uses 8 of the AMC 7135 chips
The lights have three modes - Low = 140 ma, Medium = 800 ma, High = up to 2.8 amps.
To switch modes, just tap the switch enough to disengage the contact points and then let go.
You do not have to click the switch off and back on to switch modes
The driver board remembers the mode you were using when you shut it off
The next time you turn on the light, it returns to the same mode again

The XML LED is factory rated at 1000 lumens

The lights come with a straight slide on mount that slides onto the Marwi helmet and new style handlebar mounts.
You also need to add a Marwi helmet or handlebar mount to your order
The light has a 3 foot power cord and a 15 amp Anderson Powerpole connector
The light weighs 96 grams including the 3 foot power cord

BT21 adapter and screw

This adapter mounts to the bottom of a BT21 style body.
It lets you use the Marwi helmet mount and New Style Handlebar mounts shown on this page.
The stock rubber band mounts found on Chinese lights are not very versatile, but the Marwi mounts are.
The adapter has a mounting hole for a screw that lets you bolt it to the bottom of the light

The adapter comes with a small 4mm button head mounting screw.

The adapter is shown in the picture on the left mounted to a light with a Marwi slide mount attached
You only get the adapter and screw, not the light or the Marwi slide mount

The drilling template is the main tool that is used to make Hoffman style boards.
It is a 1/4 inch thick piece of 6061 aircraft aluminum with over 500 holes drilled very precisely by a computer controlled milling machine.

This is a very nice tool. It comes with two alignment pins.
