Marwi Thumb Switch housing

These handlebar thumb switches are pretty slick
All the regular type Judco Tall and Short switches fit this housing
The judco switches with the copper tabs fit better than the switches that have wire leads, but you can make those work also
The tall Judco switches and tall switch boots work well if you have heavy gloves on
The short Judco switches and short switch boots work well also
There are several types of Judco switches below including Momentary so you can rig up just about any driver type
The velcro strap is very strong
The mini shielded cable on my wire-cable page works well with this housing
Note: The Judco flat switches do not fit this housing

Marwi Helmet and Handlebar mounts

The Marwi mounts are very nice. I have used them for many years because they are so versatile.
I like to leave a handlebar mount on each of my bikes.
You can easily move your light from the handlebar to the helmet without removing the main mount.
The Helmet and Handle bar mounts use the same slide lock system.
You may also need the Nylon mounting bolt kit if you do not already have a mounting bolt

Marwi helmet mount

Very Light weight, flexible and durable plastic construction.
Heavy Duty, double sided Velcro, mounting strap
Mounting strap is approx. 12 inches long
Rubber on the under side that grips the helmet.
Has a cord snap lock off to one side.
The helmet mount comes with the Slide mount shown

New style Marwi Handle Bar Mount

Heavy Duty, lightweight, very durable plastic construction.
Adjustable threaded cam lock
It has removable adapters for use with fat 31mm or regular 25mm handle bar sizes.
The Top mount swivels side to side so you can aim the light beam where you want it.
Includes two sizes of rubber shims
The helmet mount comes with the Slide mount shown

Marwi Slide Mounts

This is the standard straight mount that comes with the Marwi new style handlebar and helmet mounts

Old Style Marwi Handle bar Mount

Heavy Duty, lightweight, very durable plastic construction.
Adjustable threaded cam lock. The light mount is offset to the side.
Only fits regular 25mm handle bar sizes. Has built in rubber handlebar grips.
The Top U shaped mount swivels side to side so you can aim the light beam where you want it.
You bolt the light to the U shaped mount.The upright U shaped mount has .25" holes
Order the lightweight Marwi Nylon mount kit if needed

Marwi Mount Kit

Super light weight Nylon Mounting bolt kit for Marwi lights and Mounts
The kit includes
1 x Nylon Rod
2 x Nylon nuts
2 x Internal toothed lock washers
You can replace the steel bolt and nut on Marwi lights with this hardware.
Installation Tips:
I like to super glue one nut in place and leave the other nut free to turn by hand.

If you are trying to install this on older Marwi lights,
run a 1/4" drill bit through the Marwi housing to open the hole up a bit.
You need this kit if you are ordering Magic Shine adapters

Marwi XML Heat Sink

Marwi Bullet housing heat sinks
I had a machine shop make a bunch of these heat sinks that will work in the Marwi Bullet shaped housings
These heat sinks are made to work with the XML LED and XML reflector shown on this page
The heat sink fits very snug, they must be pressed into the housiung
You could also use it for other LED's and optics by moving it forward or back in the housing to the depth you require.
There is a depression in the front that a 21mm LED will sit down in
You will have to drill one or two holes so your wires can pass through the heat sink to the driver board which sits behind the heat sink
These heat sinks only fit the later style Marwi Bullet housings

Stock 35mm reflector

Stock 35mm aluminum reflector with threaded led mount
This reflector also comes with a threaded LED mount for 16.3mm or smaller LED's.
This is my favorite reflector, and the one I use for my LED projects.
It must be machined to be able to use it with a P7 or XML LED
This reflector fits into all the Marwi housings shown on this page

P7 Machined reflector

This reflector has been machined on my CNC machine for P7 use.
The threaded area has been removed and the hole has been enlarged to approx 9.2mm
The SSC P7 on this page fits perfectly onto the back of the machined reflector.

This is my favorite reflector and the one I use for most LED projects.
It is used to convert Marwi Halogen lights to LED lights
This reflector fits all the Marwi housings shown on this page

XML Machined Reflector

This reflector has been machined on my CNC machine for XML use.
The threaded area has been removed and
the center area has been reduced down so the solder connections do not short out on the back of the reflector
The XML LED on this page fits perfectly onto the back of the machined reflector.

This is my favorite reflector and the one I use for my LED projects.
It is used to convert Marwi Halogen lights to LED lights
This reflector fits all the Marwi housings shown on this page

This 34.8mm glass lens fits all the Marwi light bodies

Glass 33mm diameter

1400 ma Current limiter board

17mm diameter x 2.85mm tall
Used to limit current to LED's.
5W 1400mA (+/- 10%) Regulated Power Output
Recommended input voltage range: 3.6V to 4.5V
Use two in parallel to get 2.8 amps for a XML's or SSC P7 LED's
I use two of these and a SPDT Judco switch to build my Marwi Lights.

2800ma Multi Mode driver

17mm diameter x 6mm tall
Used to limit current to LED's.
This board has a control chip and you can select 4 modes of operation
The modes are selected by grounding the stars shown on the Side 1 image

Marwi Halogen lights

The lights shown below are new old stock Marwi halogen lights
I purchased a huge quantity of these lights from the Marwi USA distributor who has now stopped distributing Marwi lights in the USA
All the Marwi handlebar and helmet mounts I sell fit these lights
You may also need a Marwi mount and Marwi bolt kit to go with these lights
Note that these lights were shipped to me all together in big boxes
There may be slight cosmetic blemishes on the bodies, nothing serious.
Note that I do not stock 6 volt battery packs for these lights.
I do not have the female Trailtech cable ends for these lights

Single old Style Marwi light

These are the older style, Bell shaped, Marwi Halogen lights
These lights have one 6 volt - MR11 halogen bulb
A SPST On/Off Judco switch with a rubber switch boot
The connector is a Trailtech type Male power plug
My SSC P7 heat sink fits into this old style Marwi body.
Note that to make a single old style Marwi, I have to cut a Double Marwi apart

The other light has an external Judco SPST On/Off switch, a switch housing and a velcro strap

Note that one body has a rubber switch boot and one body has a hard plastic cover that looks like a switch boot.
The connector is a Trailtech type Male power plug

Old style Marwi light body Housings

I have several colors of the old style Marwi light housings. Some colors are in limited supply
The Ti is a light gray Titanium color.
The Bluish ones vary in the amout of blue
The mixed ones are a blue body with a black screw on bezel
I am not showing the rear plastic cap in this image, this image is for color purposes only
You can see a picture of the plastic rear section in the images below
These housings have a 10.9mm hole in the back plastic part that the Judco switches fit into
You may also need the 34.8mm piece of glass shown on this page

The Chinese lights flooding the market no longer make it worth while to build LED lights from scratch
You can buy Chinese LED bike lights on ebay for under $40

Chinese light Adapters

These adapters let you use the Marwi helmet or handlebar mounts with Chinese lights
Get rid of that silly rubber band mount on your Chinese lights and step up to Marwi Mounts
You choose the adpater you need based on the body style of the the light
Look at the body styles on this page to choose the adapter you need

I call the models shown below MS900, MS1600 and BT21 because these were the first body styles I made the adapters for
There may be many Chinese lights out there with different model numbers and names that have the same body style
Choose your adapter based on your body style, not model number of your light
Note that you also need the Marwi mount kit shown right above this section
The Marwi mount kit is a nylon bolt, two nylon nuts and lock washers
